Information about your individual nutritional status should be no less important to you than any other
medical assessments that you receive during the course of your medical care. That is because what
you eat and drink has a strong correlation to the diseases you might encounter throughout your life.

What is consumed on a daily basis can affect you and your family’s health – today and for years to come. While quick weight-loss schemes (be sure to always first consult your doctor) or buying specialized foods may work for a select few, it is wiser, for most people, to entrust your nutrition therapy to an experienced and a very experienced Licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Many people are not aware that the generic titles “nutritionist” or “nutrition consultant” are unregulated titles which can be used by anyone with any background or experience.

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), on the other hand, is a regulated, specific health-care professional credential, authorized by the American Dietetic Association. An RDN is referred by, and consults with, physicians and can submit to insurance companies. Because of my training, I am able to integrate medical information, current scientific research, and years of experience and apply them to your unique life challenges. I can create a personalized eating plan designed specifically for you, one that will provide you and your family with maximum health benefits. I also work with medically related counseling including eating disorders such as obesity, anorexia, and bulimia, diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, and prenatal.

An RDN is able to consult with physicians and submit to insurance companies. A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist can look at your unique lifestyle, eating patterns, and likes and dislikes and create a eating plan unique to you designed to lose, maintain, or gain weight at a healthy and long term rate. All it requires is a commitment on your part.

Also as a Certified Yoga Teacher, I can uniquely blend the mind, body, and soul of Yoga with the science of Nutrition to reach all your goals.
